Who are we?

 

We are a mixed club that provides regular gatherings for retired or semi-retired business persons who, in retirement, appreciate and value opportunities to meet others in similar circumstances and with similar interests.

We are non-political and non-sectarian.

 

Where and when do we meet?

Lunchtime club meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month (January to November) from 12.00 pm to approximately 2.00 pm at

    Boldmere Sports & Social Club,  Boldmere Rd  B73 5HQ,

The club holds Dinner/Lunches during the year.

with a  Christmas Lunch in December.

 

 

What do we do?

The lunchtime meetings usually start with a small buffet, followed by a talk on a topical subject by an invited speaker ( see Monthly Meetings section ).  Following the talk members are brought up to date with the formalities of the club. Before and after the formal parts of the meetings, members renew friendships and socialise.

 

 Other social activities include:

 

Annual 4/5 day coach holidays, musical and comedy evenings, short walks, day out visits to places of interest,

Wives, partners and friends are invited to all social events.

 

 

How much does it cost?

Members pay an annual subscription of £30 to attend meetings.  Additional social activities are individually priced.

We are a non-profit organisation and all funds go to the club.
